I am a mother of three. My mom was a Day Mother for fifteen years, and we grew up with babies in our home for many years. Caring for babies became a part of me. I took time off work when my children were born, and after being a full time mom for five years, went to work at the Nursery School that my children attended.
It was here that I became aware of the great need for a specialized facility for babies under the age of three. After having to turn many a tearful mom away because their babies were too young to attend the Nursery School, I decided to start a Baby Day Care facility called Butterfly Kisses at my home. This facility filled up very quickly, and served many a family with great success. My dreams did, however, exceed the concept of a regular day care facility. I wanted to address more of the issues that complicate the lives of modern day parents.
Life has become far more complex than it use to be, and the financial pressure on the families of today is really scary. Moms have always been able to stay at home, at least for the first few years of their children's lives, but now this seem to be the exception to the rule. This shift in the care of small children has placed a whole new perspective on the term DAYCARE.
Although I love children of all ages, she has an absolute passion for the very little ones, and have dedicated all my time and effort over the last couple of years to creating an environment that suits their special needs. As a single, working mother, I also have first hand insight into the needs of parent today, and will therefore go out of my way to accommodate any reasonable request that they may have.
